I'm trying to put the peices together,
trying to understand the correlation between u and i,
trying to see whether or not i'm dreaming,
and if so, all i ask is that no one wakes me.
i'm trying to understand why the chemistry is so strong, so intense,
so immensely potent that it has my
knees trembling,
stomach turning,
heart pounding... just for your simple touch.
a simple touch that does SO much...
but how is this so? how is this even possible?
your words, your precise words..
with every syllable u write, my sunken heart afloats
all the way to the top, ur making me believe again
that there is nothing left here to even question.
your willingness to love sets my heart free
so now and again, i try to speak
and even with every last ounce of effort,
my words sound strange to me
you make me hillucinate
to a place where only u & i can be...
maybe, just maybe
we're both dreaming.....
but if so, all i ask is that no one wakes me.
